So. I can’t say with certainty, but I think my mom used to sing this song to me. And I have no idea why I think/know that. But I know this song, and I associate it with my mom for some reason. When I was babysitting almost 2 years ago, I’d take the baby to a park in one of those harnesses (like a backpack on the front—I hate when people wear their baby in a backpack). But anyway, she was 5 months old at the time, and whenever she’d start to cry, that was the song I’d sing to her, and it’d always make her stop crying. I don’t really know what the point of this post was, but this song makes me smile inside—-like, it just consumes me with a good, warm feeling inside. It feels very “motherly”. I hope to sing it to my kids someday. :)
